Open Mind Cafe in Crewe offers a quietly inviting spot away from the main bustle, tucked just off Nantwich Road. This café, which occupies an upstairs space, provides a calm retreat where locals often come for quality coffee paired with thoughtfully prepared food. It’s the kind of place that suits anyone looking for a relaxed moment—whether to catch up with a friend, grab a work break away from the office, or simply enjoy a peaceful pause on a weekday morning.

The takeaway here is the approachable, fresh menu with highlights like the bagel sandwich, nourish bowls, and avocado on sourdough, alongside indulgent baked goods such as blueberry muffins and vegan options like the biscoff cheesecake. The presence of well-made juices and light bites positions it neatly for those seeking something wholesome but not heavy. The cafe’s vibe is cozy without being cramped, with friendly, attentive staff making it feel more like a local gathering spot than a busy chain outlet.

Really lovely space, hidden gem. I really enjoyed this cafe, such a lovely spot off Nantwich road. Staff where lovely, very friendly. Honestly only had coffee and a delicious vegan cake, the biscoff cheesecake. Looking forward to returning to the cafe. I honestly gave 4 stars as I at first discarded this all 5 stars place as fake reviews, but had to go as my chosen cafe was closed, so thought I'd try. It turns out it really is a super highly rated cafe, so I highly rate it, but better to be 4.9 or something than all 5. So my 4 star review is to help others like my skeptical self to find this great cafe.

My new favourite coffee house. What a fabulous place: *great* coffee (and I’m such a coffee-snob!), lovely food (I had the hipster favourite: avocado on sourdough), and such a peaceful, warm and welcoming atmosphere. You will not believe that you are still in the heart of Crewe when you walk up the path and into this wonderful oasis of tranquility, and I was made to feel so welcome. This place is a shining example of what great quality products, care and attention can achieve. Thanks guys: amazing.

I found this place searching for a vegan bite to eat when we were passing through Crewe. What a delightful hidden gem - it had a peaceful and calming vibe, the guy behind the counter was lovely, and I had a delicious jackfruit bagel. I definitely recommend - don’t be put off by the slightly unexpected entrance, the café bit is upstairs!

What a gem of a café. I have just attended one of their workshops. It was so well organised with a great hospitable atmosphere.

Tucked away in Crewe, there’s a hidden gem that’s an absolute delight for any food lover. This charming café is famous for its delectable baked treats, and I can't recommend it enough! Personally, I’m a huge fan of their blueberry muffins, creamy cheesecake, and the indulgent almond chocolate torte—each bite feels like a little celebration. As a coffee enthusiast, I’ve found my paradise at Open Mind Cafe. If you’re on the hunt for rich, flavorful coffee, this is the place to be. They boast an impressive selection, from classic flat whites and frothy cappuccinos to robust Americanos. And if you’re lucky enough to visit during the season, don’t miss their Gingerbread Iced Latte—it's a festive dream in a cup! The ambiance perfectly blends cozy comfort with a bohemian twist, making it an ideal spot to relax or catch up with friends. What truly sets this place apart, though, are the wonderful owners. Their passion and love for what they do shine through every dish and sip, making each visit feel personal. Dive in, and you’ll see why this café is so special!

Very lovely cafe in a building just off Nantwich Road above Ministry of Yoga. Gorgeous space serving coffee and cake plus lunches. Hugely recommend for a zen space! Will be returning for sure!

I had the Buddha Bowl for lunch and it was delicious. It was both super yummy and filling. There as also a good selection of teas and other hot drinks. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the cafe was super cosy. The people around me were enjoying their food and made for a great atmosphere. It's great their lunch menu is fully vegan. I plan to visit The Open Mind Cafe again, and would 100% recommend trying it.
